This is a reply to Geoffrey Girder NOW THE END BEGINS ON THE PRETRIB escapist RAPTURE . Here is how the WORD OF GOD tell us to rightly divide. ISAIAH 28V
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
<td width="20%For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: To rightly divide the word of God it must be along this guide. Notice Precept upon Precept is written TWICE. Line upon Line is also written twice So there must be two witnesses to verify and prove your case. You are so preoccupied with this 'escapist" theory that you are not willing to see any other side, So you want to escape the tribulation. Well Peter had something else to say. All that will live Godly will "suffer persecution". The Jews has been suffering persecution for thousands of years , but they did not surrendered, The Church started with persecution in Acts and will end in persecution with the Mark of the Beast,
Adding to your confusion it appear that you also dismiss Jesus statement on how may resurrections there are.The Apostle Paul made it clear in both Corinthians and Thessalonians that the dead is resurrected at the FIRST RESURRECTION. John 8v
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnaRev20v5
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. How many FIRST can you have. So here is your argument. The Church get rapture ,but dont mention anything about the DEAD IN CHRIST. You then go on to talk about the Tribulation saints. No where in scripture is that combination of words found. That is what Jesus warn about in rev 22 ADDING to the word. Back to the tribulation saints when will they "RAPTURE"take place since many will in resisting the mark of the beast. This would entail a second resurrection as well
Come on Mr. Girder it is time that you come clear with the believers YOU HAVE BEEN PROVEN WRONG BY THESE SCRIPTURES. This reply will be kept in heaven as a witness against you.
