The difference between truth and tradition.

The Bible said we should worship God “In spirit and in truth”. But how do most believers worship,”IN SPIRIT AND TRADITION'”

Tradition is that which we have been handed down from our forefathers. In Jesus exchanges with the pharisee and scribes he told then they were keeping tradition and neglecting the commandments. Tradition is centered around false doctrines and misunderstanding of the Old Testament. Many Pastors believe that the writings to Israel apply to the New Testament Church. This is called “replacement theology”.

Israel was not given  the commandments and statues to give them salvation. Malachi 3 is use by many pastors. This scripture is taken out of context and taught that the members should tithe. The New Testament Church was never given such a law. I will relate my experience as i have been a member of a denomination that taught the members this. For 23 years I have been seeking to obey this command. Notice what it say will be the result of your tithing. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.It say “Tithes” meaning those which were command in Deut 16. Next God challenge you to obey Him and see what will be the results. He said “The windows of Heaven will be open ,pouring out blessings..Next “You will not have enough room to store it. Do you understand the blessing you will recieve from tithing should bring on you. Because something is written in the Bible it do not mean that you have a claim to it.
Most believers are ignorant of the Laws and statues given to Israel. If this scripture quoted by church leaders applied to the members ,from the time you brought the first tithe, the windows of heaven would be open on you. They would have so much that they would be giving away and blessing the ungodly. Look at tithing believers today and what do you see people still in poverty and struggling. From my own experience of tithing over 20 years , I know that this scripture cannot apply to The Church of God . I had nothing in 20 years. No home , no business, no land. Only a Job and struggling to survive. At one time I was working  day and night to pay off a loan which I took out when I was returning here from UK. The leaders are prospering at the expense of the members, by teaching that which do not apply to them. I have done my research and study on the subject of tithing. It started with Abraham returning with the spoils of war after rescuing his nephew Lot. Gen.14v14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. 15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.  16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.  19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.  Before I go into the details I will ask this question, Was Abraham a poor man? He had 318 servants. Now look at what took place after he defeater those Kings. He met the King of Sodom, next Melchizedek king of Salem who brought forth bread and wine to Abraham. He blessed Abraham, then Abraham gave Him TITHES OF ALL.. There was no Law on tithing because they was no nation of Israel. Abraham did not tithe from his possession it was given freely. God introduce tithing into the Laws He gave Israel. Lev 27v30-34,Deut 12v7, 14v22. Another question need to be answered here.Did all the people had land. In ch 15\v7 7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:  8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.  9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. So you can see there were poor people. These people were hired to work when it was harvesting time. There is no  command in scripture that these people were to pay tithes from their wages. So if you bring it into the 21st century the employer would pay tithes but not the workers.
In the same way that I have been able to study this subject and also write from my experience, I am sure that true church leaders could have done the same. The hear of man is decietful and desperately wicked,   that include the priest and nation of Malachi day , and some in the church today.
With this message has come the TRUTH from God on understand this doctrine. It says, you shall know the truth and it shall set you FREE. Freedom is here at last.
